Twin Hosea Widodo Kristyanto is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the National Central University – Taiwan, where his research is centered on Landslide Prediction and its Features Engineering Methods. His diverse research interests encompass several critical areas in Geology:
- Building Polygon-Based Landslide Inventory Database of West Java: Twin is dedicated to constructing a comprehensive database aimed at enhancing our understanding of landslides in the West Java region, contributing to disaster preparedness.
- Creative Hazard Mitigation Curriculum (CREDO): Recognizing the pivotal role of education in mitigating hazards, Twin is actively involved in developing innovative curricula to promote hazard awareness and preparedness.
- Landslide Susceptibility Models: Twin employs a variety of advanced methods to create models that predict landslide-prone areas, crucial for early warning systems and risk reduction strategies.
- Rock Mechanics: Especially for Slope Stability in Mining Areas: Twin’s expertise extends to the domain of rock mechanics, with a focus on ensuring the stability of slopes in mining operations, essential for safety and environmental preservation.
- Anthropocene Sediment in Banggai Area, Indonesia: Twin investigates the impact of human activities on sedimentation processes in the Banggai region, shedding light on the Anthropocene epoch’s geological footprint.
- Drainage Density Morphometric Methods: Utilizing advanced morphometric techniques, Twin’s research seeks to enhance our understanding of drainage density and its geological implications.
